The Vision for
The Fairfax Street Choir
About 5 or 6 years ago, Gypsy had a vision and a dream, to reunite The Fairfax Street Choir, this positive energy that when gathered brought about happiness, light, healing, fun, excitement, Love, and a sense of well being to not only The Fairfax Street Choir, but to anyone experiencing this musical extravaganza.
Gypsy felt that because of this vision, she had a mission to bring this energy back to the planet. There was also a need for her to find a part of herself that was important for her own spiritual growth in her own life.
Gypsy went on a quest to find everyone she could through internet searches and was quite successful. The only person she kept in contact with all those years in between was Moses who had lived in Maui since the 1970’s, and then the Big Island of Hawaii since the 1980’s. Gypsy found out that Marla had been living on the Big Island of Hawaii since 1997, but never had come into contact with Moses. Gypsy had also visited Moses on the Big Island of Hawaii in 1998 but did not come into contact with Marla. After explaining her vision, Gypsy put those two in touch, pronto!
Gypsy went to visit The Big Island of Hawaii again in December 2004 and January 2005 for a Christmas, New Years, and her daughter Danielle’s 15th birthday celebration. Marla had a dinner at her house and invited all of Moses’ family. Gypsy had asked Moses if he had any old posters and pictures from the Fairfax Street Choir and he brought out a suitcase that had been shut and put away for over 25 years! What excitement when they opened that suitcase. Especially when the cockroach came staggering out! It was like Christmas! Unfortunately, there was some damage from mold to some of the pictures and posters, but they salvaged as much as possible and Gypsy took copies or they made copies before she left the island.
Since then, Gypsy has been designing The Fairfax Street Choir website through vision. Gypsy made an audio sample page on her business website www.mooreamusicpele.com and there you could find music from The Fairfax Street Choir and other musical groups and bands she had been in that she had recordings of.
Gypsy had found all the people she could find on the internet and soon all of the people she couldn’t find started finding and contacting her. The vision for The Fairfax Street Choir is coming to fruition. There is a letter from Marla explaining the rest!
